Day 4 Expanded Version

Mount of Beatitudes

I got a message from Caleb this morning and a bunch of pictures and a few more details of his day 4.
They went to the Mount of the Beatitudes, what a beautiful spot, I can just imagine what it was like to listen to Jesus preach his sermon here!

On the Sea of Galilee

They took a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and then went to the Synagogue of Peter.







Then they went to the Jordan River and Caleb was baptized where Jesus was! "very cold, but no regrets"....

Not everybody has been baptized in the Jordan

Cold but Happy!

Lunch was "St. Peter's Fish"  he didn't send me a pic of that   but he did say it came with the head and all so I got this  picture off the internet!  Yummo!  :-)

   ³ “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
   for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
⁴ Blessed are those who mourn,
   for they will be comforted.
⁵ Blessed are the meek,
   for they will inherit the earth.
⁶ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
   for they will be filled.
⁷ Blessed are the merciful,
   for they will be shown mercy.
⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart,
   for they will see God.
⁹ Blessed are the peacemakers,
   for they will be called children of God.
¹⁰ Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
   for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
